TEJON. How to prevent headphone cord knocking out ground balance?

JASONSPAZ1

Just curious if anyone has come up with a solution to prevent the headphone cord from bumping the ground balance control n the Tejon? I am looking for a solution other than drilling any accessories on to the machine. I wonder if their is a small may bey 12" 1/4 extension cord out there that can run from the headphone jack to about may bey halfway down towards the armrest. Anyone have any ideas, or where such an extension can be purchased. Thanks in advance

Jason

Jason two solutions would be to put a small O ring behind the gb knob so it doesnt move as easily and the other would be to bring the headphone cord under the control housing and with a cut rubber band tie it off between the hand grip and armcuff. Ive done the latter on a longer corded headset I have, just to keep it from swinging so much while Im searching. Ive not experienced the cord actually hitting the gb knob and moving it though but these two ways might help you.

Spaz1 i do it all the time with the tejon, and vaq, short extension out the back and up the arm rest, velcro strip it off, also works great with small cord set up if you want to go light weight headphones, whatever you like, you are in charge! found a nice 11\2 " Carolina colonial button the other day with the vaq,10"x12" dd.Have fun and happy hunting.Oh radio shack or now just the shack!

Here's what I did.
I mainly did this to get the headphone cord out of my way and to keep it from hanging up in brush.
It also reduces the flexing of the headphone cord.
