Does it really matter which direction the coil cord is wrapped onto the rod? I saw where someone had advised wrapping the cord in a clockwise direction, so the cord didn't pass over the small center of the coil. Seems to me that would put more stress on the strain relief and as long as the cord isn't loose or forming a big loop, out over the coil, it wouldn't matter. Also, the manual that came with it has photos that show the cord being wrapped on in a counter clockwise direction. Opinions?
