Tejon arrived yesterday!

The animal arrived and after assembly took it out to the yard today. It will require a lot of learning for me since I need to be weaned off the target id machines. It is definitely a different animal then the Cortes I have.

I have hit the 6" planted nickle everytime regardless of whether I had the sensitivity on 1 or 9 so far. I think I will really like the machine once I learn it.

Does anyone have an opinion on the sound the Tejon makes as compared to the Cortes over coins? I am thinking the Cortes sound is one of smoothness and confidence as opposed to the Tejon or do I just have it adjusted wrong?

Some of the shallower targets can sound real loud and still be 6-7 inches deep. Even so, they some much more repeatable than trash targets. I have both the Tejon and the Cortes and after a while you will swear the Tejon tells you more (audio-wise). And the Tejon will hit hard on buttons and coins on edge.
