TEJON AND COIL QUESTION

candycane

New member
I will not be doing any gold hunting with the Tejon and would like to know what other purpose the Lobo coil would be used for......Brandy

The one which is oval in shape.

Allo of the Lobo coils can be used on the Tejon. I airtested the Lobo coils and found the stock Tejon 9 by 8 to be deeper, so if you are considering depth only, you might want to stay with the stock coil. But the oval coils are easier to manuver around obsticals and you can sweep them closer to fences and other metal poles (like swing sets and playground equipment). Also, if you have mineralized gound the Widescan coils would give you a slight advantage. But everybody is different and likes different things. If you have alternate coils available, give them try and see how you like them. For you and your style of hunting and types of sites, they may be exactly what you want.
