technical problems

I read a lot about technical problems with the Explorer XS. Would you still buy this detector if you knew this ahead?
What is not clear to me is if Minelab has now solved all the problems in the new model (cracks in housing, breaking arm rest and jack plug problems).

I feel they have corrected most of the problem some of the first ones had, but I have one of the new ones that i sold that had the headphone jack push in even though he was using the Sunray stand with the adapter. I dont know if it was a problem with the jack or if he tried to push a differnt plug in to it as it was my demo and I had no problem with it.
As far as buying one even though it has had a few bugs, yes i would as I have had more problem with some of the other top of the line detectors too and feel they all have a few problems that has alway been taken care of.
