Tech questions

Trying wrap my head around two ML technical areas:
# 1 What are the differences between the SE and the SE Pro ?
# 2 If Minelab says it is NOT measuring conductivity and ferrousity, then
HOW do they determine a target ID ?
Thanks, maybe I'll be able to sleep tonight.

The first is easy..... the pro coil, thats it and maybe a sticker. Ill not try to confuse you..... but if you want some interesting reading try this: http://www.minelab.com/__files/f/11043/METAL%20DETECTOR%20BASICS%20AND%20THEORY.pdf

basically .... its how fast a signal is returned between the transmit and receive coil. This veries based on targets, soil, and iron. Size, conductivity, and density may be considered in the process as well.
