Team Me and Honey (The First Hunt Together)

Well I took the wife out with me for her first lesson. I put a zinc penny, copper penny, nickel, dime and quarter in the sand at the playground and had her work with them. After that lesson she was on her own and found her first find, a dime. Later I turned my detector off and she worked the grass a little and I helped her there. She found a quarter and her first coin spill, 2 PENNYS, WOO HOO. So it was fun, she likes it but doesn

What a fun time with the "Honey" . Way to go with your first hunt there (no name)...:yikes: I can't wait until I get there in Feb and do some :twodetecting::detecting: with both of you...:bouncy:

Well I am glad you found a foreign coin on your first hunt. Real copper sounds nice through those Ace attached headsets. ;) I see a big smile on her face. The same smile I have witnessed many times before on those who suffered addiction issues with this hobby and turned out to be the top 10% of hunters.

Welcome to great fraternity of Garrett hunters. Please note that you shall be treated as an individual, not just "Awhitster'sWife"

Not a bad day. Glad you got momma out there swinging. She'll get her strength built up soon and give you a real go.

She's a pretty tough gal. Makes Big John 'n' W.Va look like a little ol' pussycat:rofl:

I can vouch for that one. She's a tough gal for sure. What we need to do is come up with a name for her. Maybe everyone should submit a suggestion and see if she likes one of them. Course I figure there is one already in the works.

Hey congrats on your first and successful hunt,
We wish you many many more, and with some practice you'll give him a good run for his money.
