Thinking about buying one for relic hunting. Right now I am hunting with a F-75 and think its a OK machine. I having been hunting with friends who have a Etrec, V-3, Gold Bug and others. So for I have not seen that those machines are any better than the F-75. Can someone who has a lot of experience with different machines let me know what they think about the TDI Pro for relic hunint?

You might have better luck posting in the "White's TDI Classroom", just scroll down.

The TDI is a very specialized detector, whereas the F75 is more a general detector. So you are going to find situations where one excels over the other. If you want to hunt for relics in Virginia, the TDI Pro will perform very well without costing a whole lot of money. But I wouldn't get rid of the Fisher just to own one.
I use my TDI for coin, as well as relic hunting, but not always. It can be a lot more work than a VLF detector. Not too long ago, I dug over 12 inches down to retrieve a bit of rusted barbed wire fence. Yep, a lot of work...

Only get one if your ground minerals are extreme.
