I just brought a used tdi (original) and was wondering how to program it for the wet sand at the oceans
Also was wondering if anyone hunt the wet sand at the oceans with a pulse

You have a nice machine for the wet sand. Just be careful and if need be, put a bag over the control box.

You will get the most depth in straight PI mode (ie GB off). Adjust the delay and gain accordingly so the unit is running with a smooth threshold. Salt sand is conductive, so running at 10uS may be a bit much but if it can run smooth, that is the delay most sensitive to small gold.

Hopefully there is not a lot of small iron trash because in GB off, you will only hear 1 tone and will have to dig it all.

There are a lot of posts on the forum and videos that can help you when running GB on, so you can learn how to use that to your advantage in small iron spots.
