Hunting a beach town a few years ago, in the off season. Targets were sparse on the beach, so decided to hunt up near the hotels & condos. Started to come into a lot of fresh pennies. Well looking up a saw a bunch of young fellows just having a good time tossing pennies my way. They were staying on the third or fourth floor. Letting on I didn't hear them laughing, I pulled a little joke myself. With my back to them, paused to diga target. Took 3-4 deep scoops and pulled off my wedding band, like I had just found it. Made a big show of happiness, starting walking off right under them. "Hey, what did you find hollered one of them?" Told them I'd just found the big one, and I'm heading to Disneyworld. No more laughing.

That's great. I have a relative that said he would do that at the beach. I told him, yeah, I'm a dollar richer and your a dollar poorer. Now he has a MD , and forgets he said that.

i have a guy at work who always asks what did u find this weekend kinda making fun at me saying things like did you find five dollars .. then i came in with 6 gold rings one monday and gave hime one that fit and played it off as the norm the next monday he had bought a detector and wanted to go with me…. he tried it for one week and quit … saying it was to hard…… LOL
