Spent the whole day ground pounding with the DeLeon and it would not let me go home till it delivered the goods! I got out early this morning with really no idea where I was going detecting but with only one day off this weekend I knew I was going to make a day of it. I started at a tot lot found a few coins and a 1957d wheat buried in the wood chips. Next stop was a soccer field dug a few more coins two junk rings and lots of trash. This park I was at is huge it has the soccer field 8 Little League fields a BMX track two tot lots, plenty of picnic tables and trees so the odds of finding good stuff is very high. After the soccer field romp the DeLeon was still without silver or gold and was hungry he dragged me over to the other side of the park where people go inner tubing in the winter. There was plenty of clad here to keep us busy and before I knew it it was noon and still no silver or gold for the D and me. The Deleon kept dragging me along and spitting out coins we did this for about an hour or so more, finally I was hot and tired but the D was not done yet we left the park and I thought of going to try for old silver at the same place as yesterday but on the way there I spotted a new place to try along the curb in a older part of town. I had found a few pennies and a lady from the apartments below the street come out and I made sure she was okay with me detecting there and she said to knock myself out I was getting hot and tied so it wouldn't have taken much LOL about midway up the sidewalk the D hit a shallow silver signal and I thought silver coin but noooo out popped another silver ring! Finally the DeLeon was happy of course so was I We could go home now! LOL Anyway here's the goods from today...
