TARGET SIZE CLASSIFICATION METER

Member
I believe that Garrett is the only one with this feature today. Although this can be done with older vintage non-motion analog detectors. Using the older machine, I can tell the target size with only 1 pass and use this feature to decide which are more likely to be rings and valuables than solely relying on the conductive values that register on a TID detector! Now I am wondering how many people use this system with their Garrett to find rings than relying on the conductive values! And if you do? What is your ring count and jewelry count compared to all the other targets dug!..........HH...........................Joe

The rings I have found (all 1800's, and earlier) have produced "bouncy", yet steady two-swing tones. As far as TID, they have all consistently been displayed as coin size, with the exception of one, which was displayed as larger.
