Target Seperation Modes

Anyone want to attemp an Andy Sabich style description of practical operation and applications of the different modes. The manual is almost useless for this machine. Andy, where are you when we all need you?
Thanks,
Mike

I guess knowbody has that level of understanding yet??? Would be helpful for us that dont. Come On guys, ya know you wnat to tell us how tune in you are.

I guess because the modes are useless for many of us. I for one only hunt in clear screen 95% of the time. So having a mode with a different pattern is useless for me

Target separation modes have been covered in detail here and we have an active thread on Ferrous-Coin and Ground-Coin modes right now. What specific questions do you have?

You can also use the Search feature but the owners manual covers the uses of each pretty well IMHO. Which one works best for you in your ground and your hunting style is something you will just have to try and see what works best for you.

If you are truly interested in learning more about the CTX 3030, why would you make two posts like that? To come on here with that last remark toward the members of this forum is very disrespectful. If you are already convinced that no one other than Andy has enough understanding of the CTX 3030 to give an accurate description of the practical application of the Separation modes, I guess you'll just have to wait for Andy. In the meantime, some of us who do understand the differences as to how these Separation modes apply to various targets and site conditions will likely continue responding to those who are not so condescending when asking their questions.

Try reading some of the older posts there mcb613.. this is the age of the internet everything is quick and easy but sometimes you just got to read... :nerd:

Guy's, not at all trying to make condesaending remarks. The second post was in responce to getting no responce to my thread. Actually, it did work, but not as intended. I know Digger has alot of proactice and knowledge on the 3030. I am a little disappointed with performance, however, realize that my shortcoming of understanding is probably the cause. Anyway, I surely didn't intend to insult any member of this forum. Again, just trying to instigate a response. Also, have been following the thread mentioned above. Thanks for the replies.
Regards, Mike
