Target graph

I found these graphs to be very interesting during a resent discussion about the E and the Exp. Obviously the ability of the two machines will differ on deeper coins. But i think you can see why some of us who feel they have learned the Exp have stayed with it.

Use these values: [www.findmall.com] and take a loot at this:

The blue dots are where the trash targets hit, the black dots are the coins, and the red dots are where a tash and coin target hit in the same spot.

Oooops those values are from this findmall post: http://www.findmall.com/read.php?63,820520

On the explorer what coins would those four in the lower left corner be? I always have that disc out thinking only trash over there.

Sorry link was posted as I was typing.

Now I know.

Those targets appear to be RELICS like casings. Also Foreign coins arent being shown..... some of those we disc out as well. Not a perfect chart but interesting non the less.

I was going to say that one of them could be the steel cent, but I'm pretty sure that coin showed-up in the upper left area in air tests....which I have discriminated out anyways.

i hunt all metal ferrous most times i find lots of good coins top left if i get good strong tone the tone wins most all times could just be my area in northern vt but this works for me thanks for the charts interesting info i,ll but it to work

McDave... i find some of the Mexico and Canadian coins in that upper left.... sometimes they sound different. But most of the time they arent worth anything to me unless im hunting the woods or Relic hunting where you dig most anything that doesnt move.
