Tales from the Tot Lot 001

I woke at 05:00 am CST - Temp 75 degrees Texas in June -
Hit 711 for my coffee - $1.61 (Goal for the Day - Get my $1.61 back in finds)
I live in Garland Texas and I seldom hunt anywhere but Parks and Schools in Garland (We have 57 elementary schools in Garland and I havent seen them all yet)
However this morning I made the drive to Sachse Texas, just the next town over to hit my nephews elementary school. When I there I saw a park directly behind the
school, called Heritage Park. It had a tiny tot lot so I thought I would hit it first. Man those wood chips were full of coins - 45 coins for a total of $3.16. You can see by the photos
the area was tiny. I cleaned the area out as best as I could and thought I woul drop by Winters Park (a huge soccer complex in Garland) and add some more coins as I always
do good there.
When I pulled into the parking lot I saw the best site a coin shooter can see, the city had taken all the bleachers, goal posts and trash cans off the field and put them in the
parking lot (see the photos) I really caught my second wind when I saw this. I had thought many times about kinda moving a bleacher and see whats under there, and the great
Parks Dept. of Garland did it for me, and they moved all of them. When I got there they were mowing so it was difficult to see whre the bleachers had been, but I was able to see enough to
get another 75 coins for a total of $4.55
Total coin count for the day 120 - for $7.71 (This was my first time to crack 100+ coins in a day and in Texas in June to boot)
Got home at noon and temp was90 degrees but I wasnt feeling it.. too busy counting the loot.:wiggle:

Hey thecrawford,

Nice haul.

Great Haul of change! I know how hot it can be in Texas, so get out early and often ...

Good total of clad. I had the pleasure of hunting a spot where the bleachers use to be in the past ,like you did very well.
