Taking the ATPro to the Carribean

In a few weeks I am going to Antigua for ten days and I plan on taking my ATPro with me. I'll do some wet and dry sand hunting plus some shallow salt water
hunting. Any suggestions on setting up the Pro for the beach and what coil should I take with me, the standard 8.5 x 11 DD, the 9 x 12 concentric or the 5 x 8 DD ?????
I hope all of you will write your 2 cents on this project. Thanks in advance. Dave.

Hi Dave,

I live in the Caribbean and the AT PRO does a great job on our white sand beaches the machine runs so quiet i often through a dummy target in front just to make sure it is working. I use the 8.5 x 11 coil just because the beaches I hunt have very little junk at the water line and in the shallow water, ground balance usually hits around twelve but i go down to 11 or 10 just over the falsing line it goes much deeper (but I dont know what conditions you will meet). I hope this helps and make sure to carry sunblock ha ha the sun down here is hott.

Oh and in case you were wondering I am in Trinidad and Tobago.
