a member on the bounty hunter/technetics forum posted a copy of a new Dave Johnson post from another forum. It stated that a 5 and 11 inch DD coil will be out this spring for the F5 and the technetics omega.

Thanks Bob, that's great news! The F5 with a small DD coil should be killer in trash (as long as it's not surface trash).

I have and really like the small concentric with very good depth it is 6.5 x 3.5

The 5in round DD should be as tight or tighter and heard its hot in gold fields being a DD

When i heard a DD was out i was hoping for a 8.5 x 4.5 ish The 11 DD is great in the open

but a little tough in the brush well maybe next time Mike

John, I have the small coil, too, but will get the small DD coil as well. With the great target separation DD coils get, the new, smaller DD should be even more of a killer in the trash then the small oval one. My thinking, anyway. HH jim tn

The F5 is already HOT on gold (hits really hard), so I can only imagine how these DD coils are going to perform. Maybe they'll make a DD package deal on them (I know, I know, I'm dreaming )
