Taking gold to Heaven

Silicon John

New member
It seems that there was an old prospector who, with a metal detector, had quite well at the Rye Patch gold field over the years and now he was ill on his death bed. He prays and prays and makes contact with God. For the most of us we came into this world with nothing and we leave with nothing. That was not good enough for this prospector. He gets God to agree to allow him to take some of this possessions with him into Heaven. It was a hard for him to decide what he wanted to spend eternity with, but at last he chooses the Rye Patch gold nuggets he has found there in Nevada. They are so beautiful with the chevrons and embedded quartz that it is this collection that he packs and keeps in a box by his bed.

Well it happened, he died. When he arrived at the gates to Heaven, St. Peter had been told by God to let him come in with his box of possessions. Still St. Peter was curious about what was so important to this man that he wanted to bring it with him. St. Peter asked the prospector is he would mind showing him his possession. And when the prospector opened his box, St. Peter was dumbfounded. All he could say was "You brought pavement? "

If that's the case it's going to be a pain to try to ground balance your machine in heaven.
