Looks impressive, but a frequence switch to detect micro jewelry and than a flip of the switch puts you in the gold dust range....???....................

I'm sure that a Tesoro warranty would beat a Sven warranty. My point is if there are people out there that can do all these neat things to a Tesoro...........why is Tesoro basically so rigid and fixed in their path ...........which seems to go out of their way to avoid change. I think that if they don't get with it they will soon.. they will join the ranks of DTex,Pillar,Anchor,Troy, all produced great products...........but where are they now???

Hey Sven! are those available up in Canada? i really like the features of some of the overseas machines. i dont know if FCC laws or import taxes, rules stop them from being ordered direct her in the States. . or make them too costly.

You would have to buy one second hand over there and have it shipped over.
Right from the start they pay more for Tesoro units about $200 or so. And shipping here would tack on another $70-100.
Plus the usual Canada Customs duties etc. In the end it's worth spending the $$ to get the same model as here with only a color scheme change.
Maybe if we're lucky the Caz will be black
