Take a look at this honker.:surprised:

Ya, it had me fooled for a little while also. Decided to take my SE out for another spin at a local school ground. I was on digital and trying to listen to what the sounds were trying to tell me, but it's going to take a lot more time before I am really comfortable. More than likely I wouldn't have dug this ring had I been using my old XS, but I was digging just about everything just to see what the readings were and then actually seeing what it was after I dug it up. I was digging pull-tabs and foil as well. The monkey pendant was kind of neat and is 925 silver and it says it was made in Brazil. Not sure what the black stone is that monkey is wrapped around. Could be onyx or black crystal, but I don't know for sure. Got about two bucks in clad and about three more hours on my SE, so I'd say it was time well spent. Thanks for looking and HH fellows.

Great finds Eddie, congrats. Looks like you are starting to get the hang of that SE now. I think I am too (ever so slightly) , found an 1864 2 cent piece yesterday.I am in the process of cleaning a bunch of crud off it now. As soon as I get it where I want it , I will post a picture . My first 2 center and my first significant find with my SE. Lovin' it.

That will make someone else very happy i presume.:clapping:

Thanks John. That school has been hit pretty darn harn over the last 40 years or so. Heck, I can't even find a clad coin in the playground area, but this place has always skunked me. HH.

Thanks Bryce. Like I told everyone else, it's too bad that ring wasn't real. That would have really made my day finding the real thing with my SE and might have even paid for it.:clapping: GL & HH on your next outing.

Eddie

Thanks Steve. Hopefully we'll both get the hang of our SE's and it looks like you are off to a good start also with your 2 center. WTG. Can't wait to see a picture of that one. Nice thing about this forum is that if we ever need help about a Minelab then this is the place. GL & HH on your next outing and hope you swing your coil over that sweet spot again.
