Tag Heuer with Ice

I found this watch a few days ago but I wanted to have it checked by a Tag dealer to make sure it was the real thing , and it is. The watch is a Link waterproof to 200m with 11 diamonds and a mother of pearl face with a sapphire crystal. I found it at the high tide line in a wet sand and shell mix. It was about 8" deep and came up as 12.29 on the ctx. The bracelet is in bad shape with the clasp missing and the frame that holds the clasp is bent. The watch its self works great with no water or moisture leaks. If I want the watch cleaned and a new bracelet from Tag its going to cost about 700.00

I got a mans tag last year. The dang thing worked great and was found IN yes IN the salt water. First time out ...... the dang thing flooded. I took mine to a local watch repair shop for cleaning..... they had to replace the interior workings. I DEMANDED tag workings not some China junk. He did it with TAG guts and cost me $230 total. You might check locally for a watch repair..... they might be able to do it cheaper than sending it to TAG. Also, some of these watches are registered..... so it could end up going back to the owner. Free bay also sells bands.

We ran the serial number and it came back as unregistered. Either the original owner never registered it or sold it to another person.

Great Find. The only watch I have ever found was a Timex. It failed to live up to their advertisement that they once ran "It takes a licking and keeps on ticking". It was not ticking.
