Is anyone using Garrett Tactical Hand-Held Metal Detector (THD™) as pinpointer?

There is no sound... only vibration and light ?

Detector works when moving... not like real pinpointer
 
Cannot see the logic in buying one myself,might as well just pay a little extra to get the audio as well which is what most folks use it for,just my opinion though but if you are on a tight budget then it could be worth considering.
 
I found one (lightly used) for 50 EURO or less...
my concern is it is detector which must be moving to detect ... when you stop ... nothing
and no sound
 
I personally wouldn't buy one due to them begin mAde for law enforcement. There are other cheaper brands that would work better for mding than that.
