T2 waranty card

It comes with a 5 year limited warranty..
Your receipt is your warranty card...Dont loose it..
Get ready for some deep targets..
John

You should have gotten a money saving coupon if you bought your T-2 new. If you did'nt go to their website and copy one. The coupon is good until Jan. 15th and you have to send in your original reciept not a copy. I was told to send a copy and then Felix informed me it had to be the original. I just thought this bit of information may be helpful. Congratulations on your new machine. HH :teknetics::minelab:

Hmmm--Well now that's interesting!-----I don't know if the T2 has a S/N or not but some of the other Tek detectors (Greek series) definitely doesn't.---There is no detector (or coil) S/N.---There is no warranty card to fill out & send in.---It is the owners (original purchasers) responsibility to keep & not loose the original receipt as that is what he/she will DEFINITELY need in case of repair (under warranty).-------OKEE, now---I have one of those coupons before me right now & it says on it to: "Keep copies of all materials submitted. ORIGINALS WILL NOT BE RETURNED".".----Dealers are (justifiably so) telling us to keep & not loose the original purchase receipt.---But now I (would have) sent in the original purchase receipt (with the coupon) & all I have is a copy of same.-----I'm going to NEED that original purchase receipt for/in case of future repair work (under warranty).------I'm not about to give up 5 yrs. detector warranty to get a coil for half price (or thereabouts) because I don't have the original receipt for repair work.----If you look closely at the coupon--no where does it say the ORIGINAL receipt HAS to be sent in.---Am I not right???-------Personally, I think FT informed you wrong on the original receipt (with the coupon).-----I won't elaborate on that, but I have grounds to support what I have just said (to back my statement up).----------Regards, Del

I sent mine in..
I aked him if it could be a copy and he said that was fine after he gave me a ra number...

Your receipt is your warranty !!! save it..Proof of purchase can be required by F/T

Del: I called to check on the status of my order and was told by a higher up that my order was ready but they could not accept nothing but the original. He told me to keep a copy for my records. So I sent them my original copy about 10 days ago and have not heard anything. I will give them another call friday if I have'nt heard from them. I have'nt heard anything negative about FTs service and certainly hope I don't. Hopefully they will file the original in case my machine needs service. HH :teknetics:

Funny, when I sent my Omega back for the pin point problem, I sent a copy of a copy receipt and had no problem. I couldn't find my original receipt with the detector and called my dealer about it and he sent me a "copy" of the original receipt to use when sending the Omega back. I ran a copy off my printer and that is what I sent with the detector. HH jim tn

THANK YOU MIKE- Just got off the phone with Hector and he said my order would be sent out tommorrow. Thanks again.

I also called yesturday and they said mine was done and it would be sent out today.I wonder how long it has been done sitting on the shelf?
Oh well i cant complain they went through it and fixed it up nice..I would have been more impatient if i had not purchsed a T2 special editon a couple of weeks ago....
I would have to say First Texas has good reliable warranty,service...
And probably has the deepest, simple to use, costly friendly detector.....The T2..
