T2 SE or F75 SE/LTD .......

Can i get a little advice on which is better and why . I want to buy either T2 SE or F75 SE/LTD and is the F75 SE basicly the same as the F75 LTD. Thank you for any feedbackj on this issue. It will be for hunting in wooded areas.

They are not the same detector. They do not use the same coils. The T2 can only use coils made specifically for it. I would opt (did actually) for the F75 solely on the basis of the superior coil selection.

If you do not care about coil selection the only real reason to consider the T2 is if more adjustment in the ferrous discrimination range is important to you. The T2 definitely has that. Both are very good detectors.

Having owned a T2/SE and currently on my 2nd F75/SE there is also the EMI issue...T2/SE has terrible issues with EMI...had some spots that were un-huntable with it...also, in my neck of the woods in my soil the T2 was terribly inaccurate as far as the VDI goes past about 3"...the newer F75's...the SE's ( black ) have newer software upgrade from the LTD's ( cameo ) and with a little tweaking those area's I couldn't hunt with the T2 or the older LTD I don't have the same EMI problems...my 2 cents...:)

Steve touched on the most important difference......the increased ferrous range on the T2.This allows the T2 better suitability for european conditions when searching for tiny medieval and roman coins in amongst iron......they were so popular over in the u.k at one time that second hand prices were not much different from that of a brand new machine.
