I met with Mike from Outdoor Outfitters passing through for a hunt in CT. & then off to First Texas for the "unvailing" of the red sheet ;)
I took him to one of my best Colonial foundation sites & we both used T2's.......
Here's all the goodies we got in just a few short hours...1700's buttons, a nice rosette, and I was lucky enough to get an 1864 2 cent piece. This is as it was coming outta the ground...should clean up real nice :) The only coin to turn up at a site hunted a couple times before....
(there are pictures of the site on my C$/Edge forum)

Good hunt Bill, You guys did well especially from a site hit before.

I have a question if you can answer this on the forum, After using the T-2 for a while now, Do you feel the DD coil greatly helps a detector for relic hunting?

Congrats on the fnds, Your guys did good :)

hello friends, sorry for my very bad English, I'm Italian and I have a T2. I founded a relic equal to your in the photo in the corner on the right high (like a small key, but not a key) and I don't know what is it. Can anyone help me ??
thank you

I think your English is fine :) Your right it is some kind of key....A watch key or watch winder is what they are.
Thanks for the post...
Bill

But, so far I really like it alot, more for it's shape & coverage & balance than anything else. I had no problem pinpointing with it or anything. The seperation seems real good too, but I have not really tried it in really thick iron much yet....gonna keep working with it...
HH,
Bill
