t2-Re-Sale?-Question!

Texas Groundhog

New member
Why is there an almost 50% drop in price to 2nd owners on this detector.
(T2) It doesn.t seem to have a questionable reputation that I can find, except on some of the early ones. When you do find one it,s offered @ $400/$450.00? THANKS

...the F75 wasn't available yet. Most of them are selling the T2 to buy the F75 for various reasons. You can expect an immediate 20%-30% loss from retail to resale. Just my humble opinion.

I think it is because people want a quick sale so they can either buy f-75 or recoup some money from a f-75 purchase.Just a guess.I just bought mine and would not sell it for that price. But I have no plans in getting rid of it.

TekNetics doesn't have much name recognition in the world at large. White's, for instance, has TV commercials and far more marketing than research. And Minelabs are well known from reputation.

As far as it being a "glorified Bounty Hunter" . . . that would make an XLT a glorified Prizm II and a Sovereign GT a glorified Musketeer.

Say, come to think of it, he's right.
