T2 or the F70, which one you like better?

First let me tell you that I am cache Hunter first and a coin Hunter second. I hunt the woods and open fields. I am looking for the most Depth I can muster up. Everything I have read about these two machines I like. Ease of use and good power and Depth. I would like to hear from the ones who have used both or only one of them. My soil in Oklahoma is not very mineralized so that shouldn't be a deciding factor. Which one do you favor?
Thanks in advance, I know there is a lot of wisdom on here.

I have the T2se and have had the F70. The F70 was nice but the T2 has more to offer and more depth. You really need the Nel coils like the Sharpshooter. The 11" coil I have is noisy. The Nel coils and the fisher 5" and 15" coils I haven't had any noise. With these coils I'm able to run sensitive at 99. Ive been using 1+, disc 21 a lot. I also hear the T2 Classic is great.

I would get a T2 instead of the F70.

I have the T2 Classic, and the F70, both are very well balanced, the trigger selector for pinpointing or ground grab on the T2 is a big plus for me all machines should have this. IMO the F70 is a better coin hunter than the T2. The T2 is programed to be more of a relic machine, and it does very well. The T2 Classic has built in EMI shielding and for me there has been no EMI issues with it so far. For cache hunting I think the T2 maybe a better choice, and a larger coil would help, the extra weight of a larger coil may require you to use a sling/harness.

Good luck and Happy Hunting! !!

For cache hunting, you should get a model version that has a "boost mode" (called "slow mode" in the F70). Whether an oversize searchcoil will also help, that's in the category of "it all kinda depends". For really large deep caches you might do best with a model version that has a "cache mode" which is very slow; however virtually nobody has reported using that mode successfully for anything and I regard boost (slow) mode as slow enough for cache locating work.

I went with the T2 classic, mainly because it was the first one I had a chance to get a decent deal on.
I must say I really, really like it. I have some test beds with things at about 17 to 24 inches. Keep in mind they are not single coins. They represent what a cache may resemble. The T2 can hit all but one of these. What a machine, thanks everyone. I would have gotten a F70 but this came along first. May try one of them later, or maybe the T2 se ltd?

I have had the F70 and a T2SE with boost and now a T2 classic out of the 3 I like the T2 Classic due to it's ability to block out EMI.
