Thinking about getting one My normal hunts are old farm fields and homesites as well as vacant lots , guess what I am saying I dont do much relic hunting except if I get a chance out east sometimes how well is it on silver coins and such I do fresh water beach hunts as well , Have the ATPro that I really like but would like to try the Tech honest opinions wanted also how are the eagernomics of the machine as well Thanks

I have a T2 Ltd its great very good on silver found a small Victorian 6d yesterday(14th sept) sharp signal.I have not used it on a beach but as yours will be fresh water then I would say great .of course as these beaches are used now I suppose you will finf ring pulls and silver foil.I search in farmland in the UK I set mine at 60 18 and boost. It is easy and quick to set up remember to ground balance just push the trigger forward and pump the coil up and down over the soil until it is quiet. It is a good weight and well balanced machine not like some of the other high priced jobs.Best of luck take a look at some of my posts to see my finds of late

It will depend on your dirt..At 13KHZ it's not optimal for Silver..Yet it does hit it pretty darn well. I suppose 13 falls in the lower end but I was taught 3 to 7 is better for Silver. (OLD SCHOOL)

The Beach is another subject as far as using the T2.. Wet salty sand, or black sand. Not so good. Dry Sand it is a monster .You have to manual GB at the beach.. (A MUST !!)

The ergonomics is ONE OF THE BEST on the market... swing all day with very little effort........ The overall results for a single frequency machine is one of the best too.

Excellent depth, Excellent ID in most areas, simple GB, More depth than you can use in most areas............. One of the best Machines I have ever used.....

I've done pretty good with mine after the first year of ownership. It's easy to set up. Good luck.

I have a 13" ultimate coil attached to mine and its absolutely fantastic. Ive been digging dirt in britain for the past 40 years, had countless types of machines and this combo T2SE + 13" ultimate beats them all.Easy to set up,lightweight, sometimes a bit chatty ( you kinda get used to that after a while LOL) I recently buried a victorian half penny at exactly 14" in front of several club members and then asked everyone at the dig to locate it. There was only one machine that found it... it was mine. The guys at the club were amazed and are now looking at getting the T2SE. I cannot praise this machine enough.

I have owned 3 t2's... last one I bought new in march of this year.. I personally feel they have changed the newer t2 ltd's a little to pick up old silver better..this year I have found a number of old silvers with the stock coil and the 5 inch coil goes very deep also... very fast, deep ,4 AA batteries last forever, lightweight amd EMI doesn't seem as bad with this last one..just one of the best detectors I have ever used HH Joe

Just got my T2 on 09-23-13. Just a few hours on it and still in the learning curve big time. Used a G2 for a bit over a year but wanted more depth. I was shocked at the depth of the 5 inch coil in the test garden. Sensitivity was set at a usable setting and not cranked. I have only been on here a few times but way more info on here about the T2 than a competing site. Getting the idea in a hurry that 13 inch Ultimate coil is my next MDing purchase.

T2 is great but for multi-tone coin shooting I found the Omega to be superior. Now if is you are using bP or bP all metal and don't care about tone I doubt anything out there is deeper. If a coin hunter, the F75 is probably the better unit since you can run boost in multi-tone. But if those tones are "chirpy" like the T2's (I haven't used the F75) I'd still use an Omega for coin shooting. The multi-tones are very smooth as butter and have an analog like feel to them.
