T2 is a button magnet! Back to the old mill!

I am really beginning to like the T2. I went back to a site that has been pounded with other detectors. I won't mention brands but I will say that at least two of the models cost double what the T2 retails for...but they all missed these deep signals! I only worked a 20x20 foot area for about an hour and pulled these finds out.

The Indian Head was at least 8 inches down, and the buttons were all in the 7-9 inch range...even the tiny cuff buttons.

The tombacs are the best preserved I have ever found and all came up as foil (51-52).

I think this machine is a great machine that is deep without all the bells and whistles. My most favorite Land machine so far. Nice finds as usual Neil Don Coco Tyler Merrimack,NH

Nice finds.I love my T2, I wouldn't have any reservations about recommending buying one of these detectors to anyone. Yes they love buttons, I found more civil war buttons last late winter & early spring than ever. Try a bigger coil once, talk about deep. HH TIM:teknetics::usaflag:

I use the LTD (SE). I have not been using the boost mode. With the sensitivity on 80 it seems a bit overwhelming. I also found that the Boost Mode caused deep iron to give positive readings.. Maybe I am not using it correctly.

Nice finds and video! I have a T2SE and have developed a love/hate relationship w/it. I LOVE the ease of swining and lightness, but I have a real time distinguishing tones in the +2 mode. Folks favorite "best" settings on the T2 seem to be all over the map. What settings do you like for relic hunting fields?

Thanks!

I haven't had it long enough to try different settings. In 2+ there are tones for shallow, deep and iron so they are not associated with Discrimination. Today I got a deep, broken foil signal and I switched from 2+ to DP I could barely get a chirp, so it appears that 2+ gives a bit more depth.
