T2 fails to sell on eBay UK for 200 UK pounds

A T2 (3 months old and hardly used) just failed to get ANY bids on eBay UK, even though the start price was only 199 UK pounds (about $375?). The seller was strong - 100% on 313 transactions.

Here's the item #, although it might not display: 170125785382

Is that surprising? The T2 seems to be a disliked machine. Just how bad is it?

Austin

Can't say about the T-2 receiving no bids, but I'll tell you that ebaY would make P.T.Barnum laugh for joy. Convincing someone to believe they "won" an item when in fact they just agreed to pay more for that item than everyone else in the world would. Sheer genius. I avoid it at all costs.

Can't say why it didn't sale, but he would only ship to United Kingdom did help get bidders

Might cover it all, however early T-2 units had some coil problems which caused high interference factors surely could have a bearing on the outcome of this particuliar auction...Over the years have seen units go extremely high or extremely low which I imagine has a lot of factors involved.

what it actually says is the seller ended the advert early because the machine is NO LONGER AVAILABLE FOR SALE ,i.e he has probably sold it either through another advert on a forum ,or to a friend .
it just didn't sell on e/bay so whats the problem .getting fed up with these nit picking posts that are posted with the intention of running the machine down without proper reason :ranting:

coenwol , when I PUT UP MY T2 FOR SALE on ebay ,you went around all the UK FORUMS SAYING DONT BUY THIS T2 IT IS A IMPORT FROM THE USA !!!! and has no warrenty valid in the UK,still have your posts .

and why not ,thats the truth .you were trying to sell a imported machine with NO VALID UK warranty as having one .any purchaser would in case of a problem have to send it back to the states at there own expense which is usually around

if you read my final sale notice,on ebay I MENTIONED IMPORTED DETECTOR @ I WOULD PAY FOR ANY POSTAGE ,for return to the USA. seems these details you did not mention in your post . pity .
