Got to love that user friendly & and very informative menu interface that the Teknetic's guy came up with.
It's the easiest to learn I've seen on a detector. So easily accessed and the information available at all times is a God send!
Yep...it takes the confusion away for sure!
Heck the entire menu is always available on screen. The display even provides continious information on the battery condition, and on ground mineralization,(which effects detection depth). And remember that helpful messages are displayed at the bottom right side of the screen whenever necessary! Pretty cool huh?
Wow... how about the light weight of the T2?
Awesome isn't it! I have added two permanent 1 watt search lights to the shaft,(I love to night hunt)! I've added a RCA Wireless System Head Set and the detector is still lighter than the stripped down Garrett GTI2500.
The T2 is Balanced well, you can hold it effortlessly for hours, this will pay off in increased finds in the field.
I really like the On-Off Volume knob hidden on the side of the T2. It's very accessable while still out of the way. It leads to a cleaner detector Face. And that brings us to the two buttons that control the entire detector.
1) The Menu Button...Stratically place on the right side of the face Plate.
With a push of the button you can easily step through the menu selections on the display.
Each time you push the Menu button the next menu selection will be highlighted and easily accessed!
2) The Settings knob...If you Rotate the setting knob you can change the values of the highlighted Menu selections that you have chosen.
Well that's all for tonight, but we got a really great machine in this T2. It did take a while to figure her out. I hunted the school again the other night. A well hunted site that I break all detectors in at and that's where I do many of my evaluations and field tests as well.
I found 1.27 most buried around 4 inches.
I get lots of electicial noise interference, and I have to run the sensitivity at about 30 or the T2 is very irratic. But once the sensitivity is reduced she's quite as she can be and still finds coins to 8 inches deep!
Hey you guys have a great night and we'll have plenty more to come!
