T2 DST ALL METAL MODE

Lost In Time

New member
Hello folks i am a new T2 DST user from the uk, having used the ctx all i can say is wow this machine is a pleasure to use,my only gripe is the flimsy stem not a massive problem but it has a slight wobble if anyone has any suggestions on a fix please let me know, anyway i am wanting to learn all metal mode has anyone any tips as its in all metal mode its not easy to distingusih the iron tones so if anon has any suggestions please do share them

Thanls.

I dont own the latest T2 as i still use the original green machine, the stem can flex a little especially when using a big coil, what i have done with my T2 is throw the original shaft away from just under the control box and use a Whites 33'' tallman rod straight down to the coil, must admit it works very well for me,also the top camlock was thrown away as well and i use the shaft locks that i bought from a seller called rods_by_plugger on Evilbay.

The whole current T2 combination is far superior to when i originally bought the T2,of course what works for me may not work for other folks, must admit in the next few weeks i will be replacing the complete shaft with a even lighter carbon fibre setup, that will then be ultra light weight.

Cannot comment about settings on AM mode as i have never used it,great machine but as yet i cannot see the need to upgrade, maybe when its been out a while and see if its still worth it.
