T2 depth

I had to comment on this. Dug a small button like object not quite as big around as a pencil eraser at an honest 13 inches......sensitivity at 88 and disc at 20. Mostly top soil conditions. Had trouble finding target with pin pointer when in my hand.....I kept checking the hole with md and kept getting the signal. Figured it must be a big target but when I finally found it the signal was gone....It rang up in the 50's.........cant complain about the depth of the T2.......

im having same results! i dug an 1890 indian head cent at 9 inches with 3 pieces of old rusty metal in same hole. i was in shock. i kept filling hole in after each piece ,just to dig it back up. lol very happy with the T2SE

I do like the F75 ....but for coins the 2 does the job very very well.

Had my T2 SE for a little over a week..Outstanding unit.Trading my F75 for a new F75 Limited,should be here by wednesday.

So anyone who can tell me the pro's over the F75 standard I would like to hear them. Any issues would be nice to know about too.

Are they really that much better than the F75... ?????????

In the B P mode, Elton, mine runs quieter then did my F 75 in bad emi situations. The SE/LTD is a bit deeper, but for coin hunting, just marginally so. The big "kicker" for me, though, is how deep in the boost mode it will hit targets with the coil 4-6" above the ground. I do quite a bit of hunting on sites that have tall grass, thick layers of leaves and brush undergrowth and this is where the LTD/SE really shines. As far as any issues, deep targets don't always lock on and tend to be somewhat bouncy, but with its good audio and vdi info, those are targets we would dig, anyway. If you have to give up the ranch to boot, it may not be worth it. JMHO. HH jim tn

appreciate the answer. I am sending the F75 out Monday..so should have the Se by end of next week. I took your advice that it wasn't a bad deal he offered me.

i'm finding out you literally DO have to "give up the ranch" to join the "club"
"hit" too big for me with depth "paralleling" the standard f-75!..i'm mostly
into parks, schools, ball fields open areas, sidewalks, and other closely cut areas,
that allow "scrubbing" the coil anyway!..just sayin!

Great information gang keep up the good work !

Hi is there anybody using the T2 black and is the depth increase they say the machine has been tested in real ground conditions, i am very interested in the Black ltd edition because of the depth boost the manufacturers claim.
Thanks.

What about headphones? I am a firm believer that the right headphones with the right machine make all the difference. I used quicksilver with all of my cz70 pros but with my t2se I just have a super cheapo set and I find volume a bit of an issue with one set and poor sound quality with my other set. Any brand suggestions? Why? What is a fair price ?
Thanks guys!!

koss!..surprising performance for the money,AND a lifetime warranty!
they have lightweight models with great specs!..check 'em out!..also,they are relatively inexpensive
compared to the "so called" heavy weights!..

Sennheiser makes excellent headphones along with Koss. Same price ranges. Do some research on Amazon. Read user reviews. Also keep in mind that some headphones that are rated excellent may need the juice that a stereo puts out to sound good. A metal detector will not have enough juice. I would recommend headphones that are rated highly by users of low power devices......like Ipod's or MP3 players. Or you can spring the 100 dollars and get dedicated headphones for detecting, like Gray Ghost's.
Good Luck
