T2 Continues To Impress!

Great finds! its amazing how the T2 finds those tiny buttons at good depth. Will the T2 find deep silver coins? are those leather kneepads you're wearing?

The knee pads are rubber foam. I got them from White's a while back but I'm sure Lowes or The Home Depot has similar ones.

Deep coins with the T2? This tiny silver coin was deep...about 8 or 9 inches in bricks with a very high iron content.

I've only had the T2 out three or four times but have found some Indian Heads at around 9 inches and one King George at around 8 inches.

What are your "normal settings" to achieve these depts?
Love my T2, finding a lot but no more than 6 or 7 inches!
Nice finds you got there:clapping:

Great video. I think the T2 will be my next MD. I currently have the Gamma and love it. Do you have any problems with EMI when hunting with the T2? That is really my only issue with the Gamma. Other than that the Gamma goes deep and is very accurate. I really love the 11"DD coil. Good luck and keep posting the pics/videos.

I haven't had it that long so I am still experimenting. My settings have been Sensitivity 80, Disc 20 and tones=2+. Seems to work good and not too chattery on flat ground.

The only EMI I get is from my Garrett Pinpointer. Have you tried shifting the frequency?

Unfortunately , frequency shift is not an option on the Gamma. It is on the Omega 8000 and T2. Another reason to go to a T2 eventually, possibly an Omega 8000 if the price is right.
Don't get me wrong. I love the Gamma and have found quarters at 6", dimes at 5" with the sensitivity set at only 65 so the depth and accuracy are awesome , it's just scouting an area to hunt without powerlines can be difficult at times. I can hunt areas with power lines but can only run sensitivity at 35-40 which limits the depth drastically until I get a good distance away from the EMI. I love the coils on the Teknetics, some say they are too sensitive , hence EMI but they really go deep and that is what matters.

Where is the break point from low tone to high tone.? Does iron only give the low tone, and everything else above iron, the hi tone? thanks.

Iron gives a low tone...that is the "+". I think it is above 40, but not sure exactly. Other than that there are two tones, based on target depth. Deeper targets give a medium tone and shallow targets give a high pitched, annoying squeal.

i use 3 tones sometimes and with that nickles, dimes, copper pennys, and quarters give a high tone and zinc pennys and anything above iron but below nickle give a medium tone. iron gives the lowest tone and is knocked out at 40. i've never found one with the t-2 but i believe the indian head penny would be a medium tone link the zinc.
