Just checking in to see what a few of you have done for a back light. I remember a light someone rigged was pretty cool. Any pictures???

Thanks,

Here's the package as new. It's called KLIPP task light. I bought them at Walgreens...2 for $3.00. Battery is included.

Here's where I clip mine...on the arm rest.

And here's what it looks like in the dark. The light is adjustable. The photo doesn't give it justice. Really looks a lot better.

Thank you Charles.

That light is perfect. A detecting buddy of mine sold his T2 for the F75 just because of the back light. I am going to hunt side by side with him and get feed back to all of us T2 users. I really don't think the F75 will out perform the T2. Maybe a few more bell & whistles...

Thanks,

from all the reports i've reading the f-75 does a lot better than i have been doing with my t-2.

Hey Guys,

I have hunted with all of the "big four", now "five" including the Explorer and my T2 is the deepest detector I have ever owned. I anything past 8" and the ID is not too accurate until you pull some dirt off the top, they she locks on. There are very light sounding "clicks" that you need to pay attention to. If you get the clicks in both directions, or fast beeps, pin point and dig! I just hunted a "hunted out" place and found 4 silver dimes, 1 silver quarter, 2 cent piece and numerous other small pieces of brass past 8". I even found a small piece of lead (about the size of a .22 bullet). Even my old Explorer could not touch that. And the thing I hated about the Explorer is that it was dang slow...

Pay attention to what Matt says. It is the little sounds that are the good stuff. In fact, I even boost my pin point a bit so I can use it as another way to just see what is down there.

My buddy is getting an F75 and we are going to hunt side by side. I will keep you posted...

Thanks,

Rob in Tennessee
