T 80 depth

I have a T 80 compressor hooked in line with a reserve tank. I have this run from a Briggs 3 hp motor. Can one person out breath this at ten feet? It seems that when I run it I never hear the pressure relief valve go off. Can a T 80 be rebuilt ?

From my minimal experience with my T-80, that pressure relief valve should be popping off about every 20-30 seconds. One person can't breathe all the T-80 puts out.

And yes they can be rebuilt as far as a diapfragm and new reeds and gaskets.Rebuild kit is about 45.00 plus shipping.

As far as depth goes, the T-80 is supposed to supply enough air for one diver to 50' or two divers to 25'. I stay in the shallows, not much over my head, if that. No need to go deep where I'm from.

Thanks for the information Bob. I think I am going to have the T-80 checked out or rebuilt. Want to find those things others are leaving.
