T-2 SE OR LTD

Need info for manual for T-2 SE or T-2 LTD. Tried teknetics web site but they only have the original T-2 listed. Would like to read through manual to see what adjustments for depth boost and cache mode. Sens and tone combo for each setting. Thanks Tom

The manual is exactly the same as the regular with a few short paragraphs about the boost and cache mode..
The boost and cache mode will only work with the 2+ tone.
What exactly would you like to know i have both detectors i can answer any questions..

When your in boost mode can you adjust disc or is it activated on a certain disc number? How is cache activated, disc or all metal? And is there a big difference in depth over regular T-2 when your in boost? Thinking about upgrading to SE. Thanks Tom

Yes you can adjust the disc.I run my T2'S in 0 disc almost all the time..This takes practice.

When your in boost or cache mode it puts the tones in 2+..Every other setting you can make.

Boost mode has to be felt out for the area.Sometimes it will make things worse.

I try to use boost mode as much as possible. You get a better target id in boost mode and objects may sound closer than they are.

With the small coil boost mode is good in trashy areas because you can use a slow sweep speed.

The T2 requires a very fast sweep speed to id to its potential.

Under the right conditions you will get substantially more depth in boost mode.

Cache mode is supposed to be turned on in disc mode then switched to all metal.Because it has such a delay in the response.
I must say i dint know much about the cache mode but I'm slowly learning.
Do you own a regular T2?

Thanks for the information, and yes i own a regular T-2. Its the 6.6 version and runs very stable, never have to turn sens lower than 99. Tom

The T2 SE is much more stable around power lines. My coil had a problem on my regular T2 so after i sent it in i realized i was not going to have a detector
for a few weeks..
This is when i purchased the T2 SE and i am glad i did....
