T-2 COILS

Standard T-2 coils. Anybody tested the 11'' standard coil, new 15'' coil and the S.E.F coil, air test difference, weight. To get extra depth is it worth the purchase of one of these other coils. Thanks Tom

Agree with Parrot. The 5" lets you use higher sensitivity and search areas that larger coils miss the boat on. Scored a 1916s Barber dime in extra fine condition in a 1913 library sidewalk strip a few weeks ago. It has been searched for years by everyone. E-Tracs, V3i and just about every detector out there. Little bugger was 4" deep. But everyone missed it till the T2 5" coil hit the grass.
