Is this horse tack like a rein guide or could it be part of a saber accessory, like a hanger, swivel or other part. Thanks for any info.

You are correct...rein guide in great condition! here is one although not exact but very similar.

Thanks Keith. That was a good quick ID. It goes with my other horse tack that I've gathered over the years. Especially buckles.
