Switching from the heavy machine

to a Tosoro Tejon.
Right now with using the heavy machine, and about a hour later I'm hurting.
The machine that are used in my area are the Minelab, Fisher, White's.
I'm always looking for jewelry and old coins, but will always take clad. The ground conditions is sand where area's do have some iron.
Tesoro's new machine is the Tejon and the write ups look pretty good, but the judges always make it that way in their field test.
Minelab will go deep, but the weight will kill you.
My question is has anyone ever switch from a view/tone to just a tone, and do you believe the switch and the lightness be worth it?
Give me your opinion if you can.

The double Discrimination seems nice to verify, but so long looking at a view screen seems it would take some getting use to.
With proper setting does it run silent?
I know it will never beat an Explorer, but what type on depth have you got?
Thanks for the reply.

that the Tejon beats the Explorer in MOST soils. In what soils doesn't it beat the Tejon? It certainly won't beat the Explorer for depth in Wisconsin soil!
Good Hunting, ArtWI
