[attachment 21979 meter-stand.jpg][attachment 21980 straight-rod.jpg]As with the pistol grip style the meter height issue/with probe needed to be addressed,I always go for comfort then style,I fabricated a new mounting system for the probe and meter.....its just so perfect for me ........I gotta say it feels good ........I hate the cheesy bracket that holds the box on to so I eightysixed it and went with a new style works real well and I can now move the box where I like it............ The probe mount is made from wood I sanded it out then painted it with gloss black.....

Its the minelab Gt rod and grip.....just with the probe and meter at the proper hiegt to see and then switch to the probe with a quick pinky flick ......

They dont sell to the gereral public and will try to refeer you to a dealer ..........But I just explained my situation and they did in fact sell to me ........If there is a local dealer he will probally have to order it for you ....... callMinelab L.V. and explain how they have a seirous lack of dealers anywhere near you ..then beg them to seel it to you ......... worked for me ...... ......there are some after market ones for sale also ... but I dont care for the cheap aluminium look nor the stand being totally in the way ......... good luck ....
