Switched from AT Gold to At Pro, first digs of the year...

After using an At Gold for the past two seasons, I decided to try an AT Pro this season (mostly water hunt).

Had to get out in this nice winter weather to play in the dirt some. Local old park ground, loaded with trash of course. Also tryin out a new Cors coil (works great). South Bend.

Got my first shield nickel (I think it's my first one, lol) from where they just dug out for sidewalk through park area. 1917 wheatie, a foreign coin (neat ship on it) used as pendant, some newer wheats, 1940 nickel, "patterson's" copper thing, 1917 lead battery or part tag?, junk pendant, buncha trash around, iron infested areas to say the least.

The CORS coil is excellent. Love how the AT's sniff through the trash so fast.

nice hunt with nice finds. Although, that shield nickel has seen better days :(

Man....you sure have been busy! Great hunt. Nice to see you dig a lot of iffy signals. That's a recipe for great finds.

I was thinking about switching to the gold from the pro I heard it has better depth

Why did you make the switch from the gold to the pro?

There are some inland lakes with lots of black sand in the shallows, areas that the AT Gold couldn't cope with (just went bonkers). Figured the AT Pro might cope better in those areas, not sure.

Ending up having to sell my new AT Pro and CORS coil/etc anyhow, and new CZ21 also, some financial burdens appeared recently.
