swishing with the aquatic wildlife

From the land of the Bluenose...nice to be on vacation and slept in till 0830hrs! From there it was out the door and on my way on a rather over cast morning. Hit a park that was host to company picnics over the weekend and started doing the games/picnic area with limited success as I seemed rather reluctant to dig holes in the dry grassy areas. Anyway did manage a few coins as the weather changes and i was sweating a dozen Buds. Unable to take it any longer I changes attire and gear and headed into the lake scaring off a dozen water fowl in the process. After three pennies and a few bottle caps (no Bud) had enough and headed to another spot.

Arrived at the other lake and was greeted again by a flock of water fowl....could have been the same group as was at the last lake...to me they all look alike. Started hitting coins as soon as I entered and had a few trout snoop around my coil and then a darn eel who seemed to be in love with my coil. This delighted the brood of rug rats who were intent on catching the thing so I shood it away with my sieve much to the dismay of the insergents!

End result of the day was a kids ring, bangel, key, 2 earrings and 43 coins @$8.44

Leaving for Prince Edward Island in the morning and for days of swinging a bat and of course the coil. Free gas, free bridge, free hotel free beer (no Bud) and sadly no Hunny Bunny. traveling with my sister Mick who is making a business trip/vacation and is dieing to meet Chris (sad bouy who swings a Minelab) who is the major swinger in the land of the great big red mud.

From the land of the Bluenose....she started kimo and it is knocking the crap out of her..always weak and tired which is to be expected. Strong lady and a good one so say a prayer. Happy hunting!

congrats on the finds, Leslie. Probably never know what it is like to be underwater and see fish wanting to help detect. Then again on dry land we have similar - kids who want to help detect.
