swisher fights back

From the land of the Bluenose..after a very wet day and dropping Pah's ashes in the ocean Pat and I came home. Spent the rest of the day on domestics and trying to figure out the programs on the new computer and by the end of the day was looking forward to umpiring which was cancelled. The weather cleared so the "boss" let me out for a fix at the local watering hole. Had the place to myself and set my towel down at the far end of the lake and began my swish. A few coins came my way and was just enjoying the solitude and watching the paddlers do the war canoe thing which to me is the most exciting of the canoe races.

As I was near the far end where I had laid my towel and keys a car pulled out and out jumped a couple with their dog who was not on a leash. No sooner was the k9 out of the car when he dropped a load right beside my towel. The couple saw this and saw me give them the "look" and continued walking their pet without even a backward glance at the mess. Too much for this bouy so I exited the water found an empty Tim's cup and did the poop and scoop thing. Would have been too simple to throw it in the trash but I was pissed so I dumped it on the hood of their new cream coloured Maxima and sat the now empty Tim's cup on the dew.....poetic justice. Don't think they saw me do it but I'm sure swishers are on their hate list now and personally they are not on my fav list of folks. Love pets just not pet owners who don't clean up after their animals especially in such a heavily used beach and park area.

Finds for the half hour were 23 coins @$2.65 and an earing.

you done us proud of you ! We have strict laws here about that and most people do pick it up. Very rude of others to let it go on the beach. Glad you got some coins also, steve in so az
