SWINGY THINGY for left handed

I used the swingy thing on my GT a few times and my Explorer too, they do make a difference in the weight, but also makes the detector more confiding so you cant lay the detector down too far away from you. I do like the idea you cant drop the detector on the ground if it slip out of your hand as the bungee cord will prevent this.
I have the older style that were first made and now I understand they make them even better and easy to adjust.

I use mine right handed. They connect to the detector where the upper shaft goes into the detector housing. There's a hook there that can be reversed so I can't see that it'd make much difference if you were using it right handed or left handed. I had to move a few things on my belt to make sure they didn't bump each other but the thing is suspended from a hook that is almost smack dab in the middle of your chest. Again it seems like all you'd have to do is reverse where things attach as shown in the picture for a right hander to make it work left handed. It's not the same thing as the X-1 probe as the switch would have to be in different places if you were swinging it left handed. You'd could still do it but you'd have to reach around the switch box. Good to see its not just your president who is left handed. Long live sinister metal detecting!!

Best wishes from the UK
