Swinging Question

John61boy

New member
Hey guys/gals when swinging your detector, if you are right handed do you swing with your right or left hand?
I hadn't really thought about this much, but myself being right handed. If I would swing the detector with my left hand, this would free up my right hand to dig, grab the
pin pointer etc.
Just wondering how everyone else does it?

Thanks, John

I really think use what is comfortable for you. I am a leftie, so I swing left handed. I have to get down on both knees to retrieve finds (I really can not bend over much bad back). I put the detector to one side, and dig. Most of the time I dig with either hand.

Try it both ways and go with it, Beale.

whichever is most comfortable:wiggle:. On long days I switch hit and use both although being a righty I swing with the right the most. Just what is comfortable.
