Went to my spot while it was sleeting and snowing and I knew I had only short time before it all got covered. The ground was super moist and perfect.The At pro loved sniffing silver, All were faint 8+INCHES. Found my first gold ring at this spot (10k) gold ring cut in half and the other is a 12k gold filled ring (shux) o'l well.

This Atpro is rugged and all terrain, if you afraid to get your Atpro wet, muddy, dont worry its a 4wheel drive machine, others top line detector would have to sit this one out till the storm rolls over.
 
Well, it looks like you got the right half of the ring!! Congratulations on your first gold and a great all around hunt! You also get bonus points for braving the blizzard.
 
Your not wrong about go anywhere! The ATP is a beast for sure!
