Posting this for Wreckdiver, who found this when we were hunting the same spot in Mass. that gave up that 1662 Willow Tree two pence last month. Sweet find John!

Thanks Tony, I used to use the name WreckDiver for my posts, but when I registered this time I used JohnS, but we are the same person.
It was a beautiful day out there. The old saying "you never now" really appiles to this site. Bill and I had been there 2 or three times in the past and he usually pulled up a keeper or two and I had always found junk. Now in the space of a few weeks, I got the Oak Tree 2 Pence and this little beauty! Bill go some kind of weird tusk or claw out of a hole. Maybe he can post it so someone can identify it.

Hey Bill:

I think that's a "TR"-asaurus tooth. It looks like he searched those fields already ... too bad he missed all the good stuff!

Hey Mike how is it going? Yeah that was a nice little surprise.
You have been digging quite a few keepers.

Thanks, I think I am using up my alottment of luck. Next year I am probably destined to find a big load of junk. That's all right, everyine has there day, Bill and I have had it, now it is Ted, Rob or Al's turn!

At least you are hunting with guys that are happy even if YOU find something great like that! That's the kind of people I hunt with too!

it's not all about points or trying to find the most or best. All of us have had our days, & offer congrats to each other. Plus, we all appeciate the colonial history behind the finds, not how much is it worth & stuff like that.....
