Went to a park that we go to a lot....also got a 1916 merk and a 44 wheat....was there three days ago and didn't get anything...guess you never know!...I got a 1942S walker half three days ago...been like two years since I have found a half!
 
Come on, you cant show us a 1916 merc without showing the back :confused:

Was down about 7''.....this park is hard!!!! . I was surprised I did not scratch it...it did not even sound like a silver.......took it over to show my buddy Larry , across the park...then went back to same spot and about four feet away..heard a sound that sounded the same(like barley a nail)...dug the 1916S merk!!!
 
Nice coins. Ya can't find too many "D" marks in Calif. mostly S'es. BTW, Steven the EX XS ll is still working great, I bought one of those RNB Lith-ion packs for it.......nge
