Sweepspeed on Coin$trike ?

What are peoples thoughts on sweep speed on the C$ ?

I took my father out to learn MD on my F4 last weekend to some easy clad hunting sites (school and fairgrounds) while I ran my C$. The school was loaded with both trash and coins. I pretty much quit digging zincolns as there were so many of them, but there would be nickels, dimes and quarters mixed in with them, and a slow sweep speed with the 6" coil would allow me to slice between the junk to the clad with surgical precision, but nothing was deep.

I know Whites machines need fast sweep speeds to get depth, BUT what about the C$ ?

I guess my question really is does the sweep speed increase/decrease the C$ depth ?

If I get into a trashy area, a slow sweep speed with the 6" coil allows me to slice through the junk as best as possible, but if there's no trash, will I get better depth if I swing faster (or go from slow swings to a medium swing speed) ?

That test garden is looking better and better :detecting:
